Pen to Paper

After working all of last week on my video I decided it was time to get back to doing some drawings, here are some of my doodles from the weekend and drawings from my own pictures of people in Stoke that I have finally got round to doing.

Final Video

This will hopefully be my final video piece for this project as I have to work on supporting work.

Name Music Mural

Sam and I finished of putting up our mural for the Name music team, more of his work here.

These are some of the musicians I have been drawing for my mural piece with Sam Hawkins (more information here). The musicians are Frank Black, Suzie Quatro, Britney Spears and Chet Baker.




I also did these other drawings for a workshop in uni today. They are quiet different to my other work but I like how busy they are.

Video

I have started to work on a video piece to support my project. This is a test piece, and my first attempt at working with video, and I intend to make a much longer piece focusing on the effects of the regeneration of the city.

New Work

I haven't updated for a while, here is the progress on my projects. I have started work on a mural I am collaborating with Sam Hawkins, it is for Name (music publications company) to go in their office. We have collected all the wood we will need and it will be 1.8 x 3 meters based around the theme of music.



I have also been continuing my work based around the regeneration of Stoke-on-Trent. I am intending to develop an installation type piece, which you can see I have started to put together on my work desk. I have also included some of my sketch book work.

Bucknall New Road

I have started some street scenes from Bucknall New Road for my summer project.

Summer Project

I am currently working on my summer project amongst other things, it is based around Stoke-on-Trent's City Waterside project to rejuvenate the city center. I have only just started.
